About

About me

I am a simulation engineer working primarily in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), with a focus on turning physical problems into practical numerical models.

My work spans multiphase flows, reacting flows, aerodynamics, particle transport, heat transfer, and engineering simulation. I work extensively with OpenFOAM, Python, C++, Gmsh, PyVista, ParaView, and numerical optimisation.

What I work on

My interests sit at the intersection of physics, computation, and engineering:

  • Computational Fluid Dynamics and numerical modelling
  • Multiphase and Eulerian–Lagrangian simulations
  • Reacting flows and combustion modelling
  • External and internal aerodynamics
  • Meshing and geometry automation
  • Reduced-order and engineering models
  • Design optimisation and parameter studies
  • Scientific Python and simulation tooling

I particularly enjoy problems where a simulation is more than just a result — where understanding the physics, assumptions, numerical method, and limitations is as important as obtaining the solution.

This website

I use this site as a technical notebook and portfolio.

The CFD Cases section contains selected simulation projects and case studies. These are intended to document the problem, modelling approach, numerical setup, results, and engineering conclusions.

The Blog is where I write about tools, methods, implementation details, and things I learn while working on simulation and engineering problems.

I am especially interested in making engineering workflows more automated, reproducible, and accessible through Python and open-source tools.
